Q:  What kinds of presentations are available?
A:  We offer Retreats, Theologian-In-Residence programs, workshops and seminars.
 

Q:  Where are these presentations held?
A:  We come to your setting.  To check out what events may be scheduled near you, click here
 

Q:  How much does this kind of thing cost?
A:  Here are some program options:
  • Mini Program (1 session) $500
  • Full Program (3 sessions) $1000
  • Full Program and Sunday Morning Worship or Holiday/Sabbath Observance $1350-$1750

Travel, lodging and expenses (materials and meals) are covered by host church. Discounts are available for  multiple presentations at the same church.

 


Q:  Is there any financial aid available?

A:  Yes.  There are several sources of help available to Rocky Mountain Conference churches:  Seed Money (loans), Networking Grants (for two or more churches), and Leadership Grants (for one church).  Download application forms for Networking grants here or contact Herb Bowman, Networking Ministries Coordinator, by email or phone (303) 793-0871 for more information. 
 
There may be similar resources for churches in other Conferences or denominations.

Q:  What is included in the presentation? 
A:  We care about making your event an unqualified success.  To help you build bridges into your congregation and out into the community, we provide one or more of the following:

  • reproducible color flier
  • reproducible color brochure
  • high quality customized study guides
  • resource displays
  • BridgeWorks certficates

 


Q:  How can I find out about other church's experiences?

A.  Feel free to check out our Events page.  There you will find all kinds of rave reviews!  And all of them are authentic.  We'd be happy to put you in touch with real live pastors who have hosted BridgeWorks presentations, too.

 


Q:  Is BridgeWorks associated with a particular denomination or church?

A:  Yes, BridgeWorks is an official Extension Ministry of the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church.  We happily work with a variety of denominations in additon to the United Methodist Church including: Assembly of God, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Presbyterian Church (USA), United Church of Christ, and Unitarian Universalist.  We also partner with community groups and businesses.

 


Q:  How can I contribute to BridgeWorks?  Is it a 501 (c) 3 organization?

A:  We're working on it.  In the meantime, if you wish to contribute to the ministry, please make your check out to the United Methodist Church, which is a 501 (c) 3 organization.  Mail it to  Rebekah Simon-Peter, BridgeWorks, 115 E. Miller St, Rawlins WY 82301.  You can give in honor of a loved one, or to advance a cause.  Let us know if you'd like to have your contribution publicly aknowledged on the website.  10% of all donations are given to charities that build bridges of understanding and compassion.
